Phil sits down with David J Haskins of Bauhaus and Love and Rockets to completely ignore both of those things in favor of talking about magic and Haskins's work with Alan Moore, including V for Vendetta, "March of the Sinister Ducks," The Moon and Serpent Grand Egyptian Theatre of Marvels, and The Birth Caul.

Interesting interview but, geez, some of that got pretty Spinal Tap! It's pretty embarrassing listening to an adult talk about such tosh and taking themselves so seriously. I remember how such cringe-inducing pseudo-intellectualism (aka talking balls) was the main reason Bauhaus never really made it big - journalists just despaired at having to listen to it. But, the sad thing is that he seems so earnest and genuine, so this level of nonsense is very different to the charlatan trickery of evangelists, palm-readers and other cold readers. He really does seem to believe it - a trick of the light and too much caffeine, perhaps. I found the first part of the interview, about Northampton and Alex Green and Alan Moore very interesting and would have loved to hear more.
